1. The Bundle of Joy is a collection of silicone “dolls” whose form is essentially like that of any standard anatomically correct children’s baby doll available at toy stores worldwide.
2. The Bundle of Joy takes its inspiration from the notion that any person, regardless of gender, may feel a need to experience childbirth. To that end, the Bundle of Joy may be used to simulate the act of giving birth.
3. In our society, people of non-binary gender identification are finally receiving the recognition, support, and protection they deserve, along with the freedom to explore experiences that have been previously denied to them by oppressive gender role proscriptions.
4. While some take for granted their ability to bear a child, there are those who, though unable, wish to get as near an approximation of this miracle as possible. My creations provide the means to commune in some way with that most natural and wholesome, life-affirming event.
